Whether you are looking for week days, weekends, evenings, or a combination, they have hours that will suit you. The company are working every day of the year and our clients have different requirements. Our peak hours are between 7am - 9am, 12pm - 2pm and 6pm - 8pm, so whatever you can do they can look to accommodate.
18+ due to providing personal care.

This is a home care job with a difference. You duties could be a breakfast call in the morning - helping a client getting up and dressed, serving a healthy breakfast, with time to have a cup of tea and a chat. You may be helping with light house work and accompanying a client for a walk. You are there to encourage our clients to remain living independently and to enjoy doing what they want to do. With visits of a minimum of 1 hour you are able to spend quality time helping and supporting our clients.
Initial Training, which takes place over 4 days at St Ives, from 9am - 5pm covers the following; The Ageing Process and Safe Client, Safe Caregiver. Moving & Handling and Building Relationships. Medication, Personal Care and Administration. Basic Life Support, Awareness of Mental Health, Dementia and Learning Disabilities. The company will then continue with your ongoing training, which includes QCF levels 1 and 2 in Health and Social Care and our own unique City & Guilds accredited Alzheimer's Disease and other Dementias qualification. You will have regular meetings with our Caregiver Services Manager to ensure we continue deliver training to support your development within the role.

NOTE: Do I need to drive? - Not necessarily but it is an advantage. A number of their Caregivers cycle, walk or take the bus. If you live with poor transportation links, it may limit how quickly we can build your schedule as we would only be able to build your schedule with clients who live nearby.
