£15,112.50 per year plus £30.50 for each sleep-in duty, if on a permanent contract. For External Bank pay is £7.62 depending on shift. Enhanced pay is available in some schemes once staff are fully delegated to support individuals with high medical needs.
37.5 hours a week, Various terms available; Full time or part time permanent contracts on a 24 hour rota system - various shifts are available. If you have a permanent contract you will also be eligible to take extra shifts on the company's internal bank. The company also offer flexible contracts working solely on the company's external bank.
Applicants are required to be 18+, under the Care Standards Act 2000.
You will be working with adults and young adults with severe-profound learning disabilities providing all the support, advice and help they need to live a full, safe and active life as part of their local community. You will be encouraging and supporting them to experience new things which may enhance their lifestyle. This is a highly responsible position that would suit a person with a high level of maturity, as you may be dealing with epilepsy and other medical situations.
First Aid, Fire, Health and Safety, Moving and Handling, Food Hygiene, along with specialist training in dealing with Abuse and Epilepsy. Other specialist training where required. There is an NVQ programme in operation, which you may be eligible for, to various levels, equivalent to one day per week training. Training is also on the job.
No formal qualifications or experience is required for the right applicant, although experience is always welcome. Applicants should have a caring personality and good people skills. Applicants should also be numerate and literate and have the ability to undertake an NVQ Level 2. You will also need to be meticulous about record keeping and following procedures.

24 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays. Once you have been in post for 3 months you will be entitled to a contributory stakeholder pension scheme.
