Healthcare Support Worker Neurosciences
£15,251 to £17,978 pro rata, per annum.
Full Time 37.5 hours per week.
You will be working for a large hospital in Cambridge and they are looking for enthusiastic, conscientious, hardworking staff to complement their neurosurgery team. You will care for patients who have suffered major injuries, often as a result of road traffic collisions. These patients often have multiple injuries eg broken bones as well as head and/or spinal injuries. You will also complete competency packages relevant to your clinical area as well as undertaking the Care Certificate.
As a HCSW, you will complete a 10 day Clinical Support Staff Induction Programme (CSSIP), undertake the National Care Certificate (NCC) and a Vocational Qualification in Healthcare. All of which provide you with the clinical skills, knowledge and competence to deliver excellent care to their patients. Equivalent to one day a week training.
Previous experience is not required as training will be provided to enable you to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to undertake the role.
