Young People of the Year award

A teenager, who dedicates her time to making sure young people have something positive to do in rural towns and villages, has been nominated for Spicers Cambridgeshire Young People of the Year.

Sixteen-year-old Tina Mogg, of Fairhaven Close, Duxford, has been nominated by youth worker Steph Basham in recognition of all the voluntary work she has been doing for youth clubs in south Cambridgeshire.

As a nominee for YOPEY, Tina is in with a chance of winning the top prize of £1,000 from a prize pot of £3,000 put up by Spicers and other sponsors, including Cambridgeshire Constabulary and South Cambridgeshire District Council.
