Aimee's career takes off

A few month's ago Aimee Peart Webb took home the winning trophy from the Young Cambridgeshire's Got Talent competition and now, in her own words, life's just "Busy, Busy, Busy"

Here's a short update from Aimee about what she's been up to:

Since Young Cambridgeshire's Got Talent, I've been involved in so much, music wise!

I had a film crew come to my house to film a short documentary, which was amazing but so out of my world, i could get used to this!!!!

I've had 2 radio interviews recently, one on Star Radio, and one on BBC Radio Cambs, where my guitarist and I performed an acoustic version of Empire State of Mind, Part 2 (Alicia Keys Cover). It was so much fun and we've been invited back for Christmas as well which is great! Charlie Lake also performed, he's such an amazing singer, I was blown away by his voice.

Last weekend was also the final of UK Unisgned, previously won by Leona Lewis and Katie Melua, and i came 3rd out of 5 teens picked from the across the UK, which i was more than happy with! To be involved in such a big event is just incredible and i feel very lucky!

ADeC is also in talks about Rural Touring in the Autumn, which is very exciting and i'm really looking forward to that .

So all is good at the moment! Several gigs are coming up in the next few weeks before school starts again.

... We all wish Aimee well and look forward to hearing from her again.
