After 5 weeks of fun packed action at this year's Fusion summer activities, everyone headed down to Huntingdon Riverside Park for an afternoon of sport on Friday 20th August.
The project which is run at Huntingdon Youth Club has been funded by the National Lottery and Cambridgeshire Police. It aims to provide a safe environment during the summer holidays for young people in the town. Over 450 signed up for activities during the 5 week period with attendances each day often hitting 130.
Activities taking place at the project include sport, art and crafts, computer and video games, karaoke and outings. In addition to the activities youth workers and other agencies working with young people have been on hand to provide help and advice.
At the riverside event a representative from Huntingdon District Council asked young people what they thought about where they live in a bid to make sure that any future planning takes on board young people's comments about what's needed in the town.
