HYC celebrates

HYC held a celebration event to showcase the talents and skills of young people who have participated in projects.

The projects were all funded by Cambs County Council's Youth Opportunity Fund, administered by Young Lives.

Breaking Silence, one of the music groups were awarded £2000 for purchasing equipment and organising a gig, inviting other performers along.

There was a photo exhibition to showcase the work of the young people that took part in the Snapshot Project. Awarded, £1580, the funds help to purchase cameras, display materials and for young people to achieve their Bronze Arts Awards.

Another group have been working hard on putting together a recipe book for young people who have food intolerances or allergies. Young people at all the youth clubs tried out recipes and rated them on how easy they were to make and how tasty they were. This project was awarded £2472.

HYC and the young people would like to thank those who attended.
