Huntingdon Gateway Club host area disco

On Tuesday 26th November young people from across Huntingdonshire came together at the Youth Centre in Sallowbush Road, Huntingdon for a social evening and disco.

The clubs, which aim to enable young people with learning disabilities to access  leisure and social activities are very popular with their members.... here's what some of them said:

Kelly and James go to the Huntingdon Gateway club which they say is a lot of fun with activities like cooking, Karaoke, Pool Football and outings.  They both enjoyed the chance to "Chill" and make new friends.

Gemma and Carina go to the Saints club in St Ives, They said that they do lots have activities, go on trips like Ice skating and have group discussions.  They thought it was really good that people had  a place to meet and make new friends.  There were also people there that helped them.

The clubs always welcome new members and are hoping to have a big area event next Valentines Day.
