GET INTO Highways Construction

Highways England’s £1.5 billion A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon improvement scheme is currently the biggest road project in England.

Programme: Monday, 12th February 2018 until Friday, 9th March 2018

Location: Huntingdon and Surrounding Areas

Interviews: Week Commencing Monday, 22nd January 2018


This Prince's Trust programme is a 4 week employment opportunity for unemployed young people aged between 18 and 30 who would like to start a career within Highway Construction.

By taking part you will get the following:

  • A CITB Health and Safety Awareness Certificate (HSA)
  • FREE CSCS Green Card training and testing
  • Training Sessions in Groundworks, Construction and Plant Awareness
  • 2 Weeks On-site work experience with the A14 Integrated Delivery Team
  • Access to potential job and apprenticeship opportunities
  • A boost to your employability skills
  • Up to 6 months mentoring support

There are LIMITED PLACES AVAILABLE

Taking part does not affect your benefits and  your travel expenses are paid whilst you are on the programme.
