  • Depending on the facility, you could earn on average approx £10 – 15 pounds per hour by becoming a swimming teacher
  • Find a part time or full time job – 100s are advertised every year on www.swimming.org.
  • Fit in around studying – and work as little or as much as you like

Start at the beginning - the teacher coach career pathway

Qualifications and courses include Teaching Aquatics, Aqua Fit and Disabilities plus Coaching Diving, Coaching Swimming, Coaching Synchronised Swimming and Coaching Water Polo.   Qualifications have been developed by the ASA to meet UK Coaching Certificate (UKCC) standards and currently range from Levels 1-3.
