£15,236 per annum.





Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a world leading Wellcome-MRC Cambridge Stem Cell Institute and the Department of Haematology at the University of Cambridge within the professional services team. You will be providing professional administrative support to the team to ensure as a team you are able to deliver the best service to their internal customers and candidates. The role provides an efficient administrative service to the Finance, Graduate Education, HR and operations (communications, events and public engagement) management in the Institute and Department. The role will provide support across multiple and diverse research groups and will play a key part in the Office, PhD, Finance and HR administration processes in the University. The role will rotate through the sub-teams to earn a broad range of experiences and will provide support to a wide range of different areas and projects. This is a great opportunity to join a busy and successful team whilst working towards your Level 3 in Business Administration and building your administration and communication skills.


In house training and relevant apprenticeship qualification. Equivalent to one day a week training.


The role holder requires minimum of 4 GCSEs or the equivalent at Grade C/4 or above, including Maths, Science and English. You should be an experienced user of Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook etc), this can be school work etc. You should have good organisation, communication and time management skills. You will be willing to learn, follow instruction and take responsibility for own
