Starting salary £8.73 per hour. Time and half after 8 hours, double time after 12 hours Monday to Friday. Time and half Saturday for 4 hours, double time there after, Sunday is double time all hours worked.

Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to assist the civil engineering surveyors and civil engineers on site with their daily duties. The individual will provide assistance to the engineering team to facilitate construction of various elements of the A14 project. Initially this will entail the maintenance of equipment and vehicles, assisting engineers in setting out stakes, pins and other marks for the site teams and production of as-build records. With further training and the right individual this role could further develop into an Engineering Technician/ Engineering Surveying Technician role with more advanced responsibilities.

Training:

Onsite training will be given to allow individual to fulfil their responsibilities. For the right individual after 18 months there is possibility of entering into an Engineering Technician/Apprentice scheme. Equivalent to one day a week training.

No formal qualifications are requested for the role.
