Nursery Assistant

£11,980/ £14,976 depending on hours worked.

Hours:

The role is working across all the rooms, and can either be full time (40 hours per week), or part time (32 hours, Monday to Thursday).

Ages:

17+, due to Ofsted requirements.

Job Description:

You will be working for a large childcare provider, under supervision at all times. You will be working with children in all of the four age range rooms, the children vary in ages from 4 months to 4 years. Your duties will include helping the children with all activities, helping with feeding, changing nappies and general cleaning of the nursery.

Training:

Level 2 in Early Years and Childcare, this will be carried out within the nursery environment. Equivalent to one day per week training.

Qualifications:

You should be motivated to provide exceptional care and education to children. You will be a good communicator, be able to work in a team and develop good relationships. A relevant Early Years qualification is not required, however, we offer opportunities for our employees to attain relevant qualifications. Previous experience preferred although not essential as full training and development will be provided.

It will be necessary for the appropriate level of criminal record disclosure to be undertaken.
