Job Description:

You will be working for a busy bar and restaurant. As a member of the kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring all food and associated products are prepared, cooked, served and presented to our high standards. Whilst ensuring the highest standards of CQSMA are achieved, you will work with the rest of the kitchen team to maintain our 10-minute service aim. In addition, you will develop a good knowledge of all our food products and keep up-to-date with current promotions and offers. It's essential you also maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and adhere to all aspects of licensing law, trading standards, food hygiene, and health and safety.

Training:

In house training and Level 2 Apprenticeship. Equivalent to one day a week.

Qualifications:

No formal qualifications required. Personal Specification requires you to be: Customer focused: Be friendly, smiley, sociable and welcoming to our customers, to create a great atmosphere. Remain calm, patient and polite, if receiving customer feedback. Be helpful and go out of your way to help our customers. Drive: Be confident and self-motivated, demonstrate a passionate commitment to the business, welcome and embrace change, with a positive attitude. Be able to work unsupervised in a busy environment (if over 18); be able to prioritise duties. Personal Integrity: Be honest, reliable, trustworthy and respectful. Immaculately dressed and maintain excellent time-keeping and attendance along with being professional at all times. Team work: Always be a good team player; build and maintain good relationships with all team members. Work together with the team to ensure that the pub is the best it can be. Be willing to take on jobs to balance the team workload and be able to communicate well with people of all levels.

18th December 2017. PLEASE NOTE: You must have proof of right to work in the UK, have a UK bank account in your own name, be able to converse in English, and have a fixed place of residence and live within a reasonable travelling distance of the pub.
