Customer Assistant

20 hours per week.

Job Description:

You responsibilities will be to assist the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager with all areas of store operation. You will operate the checkout, handle cash and make sure our shelves are well-stocked at all times. You will carry out regular freshness checks to ensure we offer the freshest produce and unpack daily stock deliveries. You will rotate stock, ensure the store is clean, both on the shop floor and behind the scenes. You will assist with baking in their in-store bakery.

Training:

Initial training and on-going development from an experienced team member. Brilliant opportunities to take on more responsibility and long term career prospects.

Qualifications:

You will need a can-do attitude and excellent customer service skills. The willingness to go the extra mile for our customers. A high degree of reliability. Lots of flexibility. A passion for working in a fast-paced, varied environment, hitting targets and meeting deadlines. A knack for working well in teams. Preferably, previous experience in a customer facing role but this is not essential provided you have the right attitude.

Prospects:
