Executive Lounge Host

Part-time (30 hours per week).



Job Description:

You will be an Executive Lounge Waiter/Waitress. This involves providing comfort to executive Guests throughout their stay at the hotel by responding efficiently to their enquiries and offering advice and information as requested. An Executive Lounge Host contributes to the first impressions of the Guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards. The role includes: Welcoming executive Guests on arrival and assisting them during their stay dealing efficiently with enquiries and any complaints. Setting up Breakfast and evening buffets in the lounge, replenishing these and cleaning away after service. Setting Lounge tables for guests and cleaning after use. Ensuring cleanliness of work areas and the lounge at all times. Ensuring that all Guest supplies and amenities are offered and replenished to the required standards. Staying current with all hotel services as well as VIP requests and special events. Demonstrating a knowledge of external locations, attractions and landmarks in the vicinity. Projecting a professional manner with an emphasis on hospitality and Guest service. Complying with Hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation. Executing tasks as instructed by the Executive Lounge Supervisor or Manager and serving your role and Team in an environmentally-conscience manner.


In house training. For the right candidate there will be the opportunity to gain relevant qualification. Equivalent to one day a week.


No formal qualifications required. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviour, skills, and values that follow: Be calm, efficient with a positive attitude, Good communication skills and be a people person, Commitment to delivering high levels of customer service to VIP guests, Excellent grooming standards, Ability to work on your own and organise your own daily work load, A passion for delivering exceptional levels of Guest service.


For the right candidate there may be the opportunity to progress with the hotel if you show you are a dedicated member of staff.
