Job Description:

As a member of the cleaning team, you will be responsible for ensuring all front of house areas are presented to high standards. Cleaning, wiping, vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping - you will do all of these and more to ensure the entire pub is spick and span. You'll have to take pride in your work and be dedicated to making sure everything looks gleaming.

Training:

In house training offered. Once you have mastered the basics and become a fully fledged member of the team, you will have the opportunity to become an expert in a specialised area offered in the business, such as coffee, ale, cellar or kitchen. You will also receive regular reviews and updates on your performance and training and this will form part of your training sign-off as an associate.

Qualifications:

No formal qualifications required; you will need a good standard of literacy and numeracy with an excellent level of spoken and written English. You should be customer focused, friendly, sociable and welcoming to customers. You must be confident and self-motivated, able to prioritise and work unsupervised in a busy environment (if over 18). You must be helpful and go out of your way to help customers and remain calm, patient and polite, if receiving customer feedback.

Prospects:

The opportunity to work in a team and gain cleaning experience in the hospitality industry. As this is a large employer there may be the opportunity to progress with the company.

18th July 2018. PLEASE NOTE: You must have proof of right to work in the UK, have a UK bank account in your own name, be able to converse in English, and have a fixed place of residence and live within a reasonable travelling distance of the pub. You can receive up to 19% as bonuses.
