Nursery Assistant








Part-time hours.


17+, due to Ofsted requirements.

Job Description:

You will be working for a large childcare provider, under supervision at all times. You will be working alongside a friendly team, helping to support children achieve their goals through play. Your duties will include helping the children with all activities, helping with feeding, changing nappies and general cleaning of the nursery.


Level 2 in Early Years and Childcare, this will be carried out within the nursery environment. Equivalent to one day per week training.


You should be motivated to provide exceptional care and education to children. You will be a good communicator, be able to work in a team and develop good relationships. A relevant Early Years qualification is not required, however, we offer opportunities for our employees to attain relevant qualifications. Previous experience preferred although not essential as full training and development will be provided.

It will be necessary for the appropriate level of criminal record disclosure to be undertaken. Therefore, it is essential in making your application you disclose whether you have any pending charges, convictions, bind-overs or cautions and, if so, for which offences.
