Starting at £14,305 per annum with increments based on performance and completion of the apprenticeship. This rises mid-way through the apprenticeship based on performance, and again on completion of the apprenticeship, to c.£18,900.

Job Description:

You will be working for a major publishing company. They have an exciting opportunity to join their busy Accounts Receivable Team in Cambridge. Working closely with their customer services and credit management teams, you will be dealing with high volumes of incoming cash and queries from internal and external customers. The main responsibilities of the team centre around processing the incoming receipts on SAP accounts, liaising with credit management, customer services, sales teams and customers to deal with and process the receipts. The Accounts Receivable team operates in an ever-changing environment and there is scope for this role to develop.

Training:

In-house training. The post holder will work towards gaining Business and Administration Level 3 through work based learning. An internal refresher course for Excel skills will be provided, if required. Equivalent to one day a week.

Qualifications:

You will be educated to A Level or equivalent. You will be committed to ongoing personal development. For this role, you will need an enquiring mind, to understand and translate the sometimes incomplete information we receive into data that can be processed. Attention to detail is an important quality, as we aim to get it right first time. You must be able to deal with queries in a quick and efficient manner. You will be dealing with internal and external customers internationally, so confident communication skills are a must. You must be team-minded and able to manage your own workload. You will be able to relate to their six behaviours that play a fundamental part in the culture at the organisation.
