Insurance Accounts Assistant






Salary range is between £16K and £17K per annum.


Monday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm



Job Description:

This insurance company requires an Accounts Assistant, working as part of a small team. The purpose of this role is to provide an: accounting, premium finance, and insurer account settling service to Franchisees as well as ensuring regular and correct banking procedures are performed by Coversure Franchises; doing so using accuracy and integrity. You will also provide a switchboard service for incoming calls, distributing correctly to relevant departments. For this role they are ideally looking for someone that would like a start in an admin career.


Full training will be provided. Further education will also be provided for the right candidate.


The successful candidate should have 3 to 5 GCSE's grade C or above including English and Maths (or equivalent), or educated to A Level standard, (or equivalent). You should have good communication and interpretation skills, excellent numeracy and literacy, be self motivated and a team player. A good telephone manner would be a distinct advantage as the job involves liaising with insurers, although full training will be given. Excellent ICT skills are also required and experience in accounting procedures would be advantageous, but not essential. The company are looking for a candidate that is keen to take their first step in an admin assistant role.
