Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm (4 days per week office work, 1 day per week training at college).

Job Description:

The company design creative and original bridal accessories. Their priority is to bring fresh ideas to bridal wear adding to and updating their extensive collection. The main responsibilities will include: Supporting the Company credit controller; calling, emailing and writing to customers to request payment as appropriate. Answering incoming calls from customers, taking payments and answering accounts queries. Assisting with maintenance of a register of bad debts, providing a progress report to senior staff on a weekly basis. Promoting alternative payment methods to customers through telephone and email communications. On the job training will be provided for all of the above. 1 day per week attendance at CRC for AAT Level 2 formal training.

Training:

In house training plus 1 day per week attendance at Cambridge Regional College for AAT Level 2 formal training.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have essential qualities and skills listed for the role: GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English. An interest in training in accounts (previous experience of working in an accounts department not required). The ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels, including customers and other members of staff. The ability to handle customers - to remain calm under pressure with a good, polite telephone manner. The ability to meet deadlines & pay close attention to detail. Comfortable using computers and learning new skills. Someone who is punctual and dependable. No product knowledge or experience is required.
