Monday - Learners will  complete a short basic skills assessment they will then need to complete part of their Level 2 Equality & Diversity assessment

Tuesday - Learners will continue with their Equality and Diversity qualification and have this completed by the end of the day

Wednesday - Learners will complete a short Introduction to construction workbook that consists of 5 questions and then the tutors will deliver the knowledge for the Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction environment ready for the exam that will need to be completed by 3:00pm

Thursday - Learners will start their first Warehouse and Storage assessment which will need to be completed by the end of the day ready for the tutor to mark.

Friday - Learners will start their second Warehouse and Storage assessment which will need to be completed by the end of the day ready for the tutor to mark.

Once the course is completed and all of the elements have been completed, the claims team will process the learners' work and claim their qualifications. Once this has been completed the learner support team will email the learner a copy of all their documents.  The title of this email will state 'Digital Authorisation' (this can be expected by the Wednesday of the following week). The learner will need to reply to the email stating "I can confirm all the details are correct"
Once this email has been returned, the claims team will email out a voucher code which can be used to book the Health & Safety in Construction exam (Operatives Test). This test will be sat at the nearest Pearson's test centre. Instructions and full details will be included - Please note this voucher is only valid for one test and has to be used within 1 year of receiving the voucher.
At the test centre, the learner will be required to sit a 45-minute multiple-choice touch screen test. This test is not much different to the Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment that was achieved within the course so the Learners will have the knowledge to sit and pass this. (Extra Revision materials and sites are provided on the course). The results for this test are given on the day and the learner will receive a Score report which they must keep safe.
Once both the Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment and the Operatives test have been completed and passed, the learner will need to call the office and request for their 5 year Operatives card to be applied for. When they call the office they will be asked to provide the CITB number that can be found on the top of their score report that they received from the Pearsons test centre.
Once the card has been applied for it can take up to 4 weeks for the physical card to arrive. We understand that learners are waiting on this card to start work so to help with this we are able to provide an email to the prospective employer confirming that the learner has completed and passed all elements of the exams (and we have applied for their CSCS card).
